McEachern were a young team last year when the ended winning their region and making it to the second round of state playoffs. North Gwinnett is also coming off a second round exit and put up a solid showing vs Walton last year, this year they return many key players and will look to make a run.

To cap off the night, Cedar Grove will face off against Douglas County. Cedar Grove won 3a last year behind many highly ranked players including UGA commit running back Bo Walker. Douglas County comes in after a semifinal appearance in 6a last year and is primed and ready for similar results this year.
