6A has been arguably the most entertaining classification in Georgia this baseball season. Talent has been displayed all over the diamond and so we will look at the coming few weeks for 5 of the best teams (notice 5 of the best because there is so many teams that could be included) remaining few games.

Marist: Prep Baseball Georgia 1, Coaches Box Georgia 3, MaxPreps 6

Marist has one of the records in state regardless of class at 18-2, they even went on a 16 game winning streak. They have 3 big games coming up, one on April 3rd vs Buford, one of the best teams in 7A. Then they play Hillgrove on April 4th and Pope on April 6th, both two of the top teams in the state. They then return to region play in which they are 12-0 in, playing St Pius April 9th, 10th, and 12th.

Blessed Trinity: Prep Baseball Georgia 6, Coaches Box Georgia 2, MaxPreps 4

Blessed Trinity are 18-5 and are hot riding a 4 game winning streak, this will be massive as they face off against Houston (a Tennessee power). BT will then travel to Lassiter for a big time region series, this series will be crucial to locking up the region.

Tift County: Prep Baseball Georgia 3, Coaches Box Georgia 4, MaxPreps 2

Tift County plays in probably the hardest region in Georgia and yet they still ride with a 18-3 record. Tift plays Owensboro Catholic on April 3rd and then follows it up the next day vs Fredrick Douglas. They then close out there last region series playing Veterans April 9th, 10th, and 12th.

Houston County: Prep Baseball Georgia 2, Coaches Box Georgia 1, MaxPreps 1

HoCo is arguably the best team in the state, at 17-5 they are coming off some massive wins over Tift and Thomas County Central. They will play a doubleheader on April 4th starting with a game vs Tennessee power Houston, that night they will close it out vs Cartersville. The will play a game the very next day vs Locust Grove. They will close out region play vs Lee County, Lee County will be playing to secure a playoff spot sitting in 3rd but just one game separating them from 5th.

Newnan: Prep Baseball Georgia 5, Coaches Box Georgia 6, MaxPreps 3

Newnan are 21-3 and are arguably the hottest team in Georgia winning 17 straight games! They have won 10 region games and have no games until April 9th when they play Douglas County and April 11th. In between they will play Northgate on April 10th.
