The season is down to its final stretch and with only a few games left teams have to start making a playoff push. While others are already basically in we will take a look at some of the top 3A teams in the state (based on 3 ranking websites).

Pickens: Prep Baseball Georgia 2, Coaches Box Georgia 2, MaxPreps 2

Pickens sit at 20-3 and have only lost 2 games since March began and one of which was to IMG Academy (they currently are 4th in the nation according to MaxPreps). They also have big wins like beating Cartersville 5-4 in March. They close out their series vs Dawson County on April 5ht, before closing out region series vs Lumpkin County on April 9th, 11th, and 12th.

Franklin County: Prep Baseball Georgia 3, Coaches Box Georgia 3, MaxPreps 5

Franklin County sit at 20-5 and have put on some great displays this year. They have one more region series vs Stephon County on April 9th and a doubleheader on April 12th in a massive series for Franklin.

Calvary Day: Prep Baseball Georgia 5, Coaches Box 4, MaxPreps 3

Calvary Day sit at 13-3 and have only played 16 games on the year. This will be picking up these next few weeks playing St John’s County Day on April 5th, two games on April 6th vs Trinity Christian Academy and Oakleaf. They return to series play vs Beaufort on April 9th and 11th.

Harlem: Prep Baseball Georgia 1, Coaches Box Georgia 1, MaxPreps 1

Harlem are one of the few undefeated teams left in the state. Harlem have been so dominant that they have not given up a run in 11 games! They play Salem on April 8th and Greenbrier on April 9th.

Morgan County: Prep Baseball Georgia 4, Coaches Box Georgia 5, MaxPreps 7

Morgan County are riding in hot and will need it playing 5 games in the next 7 days. The 17-5 Bulldogs play Cross Creek April 5th and Bowden April 10th. They then play a double header vs West Laurens on April 11th. They play Salem on April 12th to close out the 3 games in 2 days streak.
