Travis Burgess

The Grayson Rams had one of the youngest teams and one of the youngest coaches in the state last season. This did not stop them from making the state semifinals and coming up just short against eventually champions Milton. In this run they defeated top dogs Buford, at Buford, in the quarterfinals. They will have returning stars ( all of which where sophomores last season) Tyler Atkinson, Ant Davis, and Travis Burgess, amongst others.

They will start out vs Collins Hill on August 16th. Collins Hill also has a very young team and made it to the 2nd round last season.

They then play 3 teams out of state, one in Alabama playing Thompson, another back home vs Dorman (South Carolina), and final going to North Carolina to play Mallard Creek.

They play Grovetown on September 20th at home before heading to a fierce opponent in Newton to begin region play.

They then play Heritage on October 4th, before a two game road slate vs Rockdale and South Gwinnett (in between they will have a bye).

They will end of their season vs Archer on November 1st. Archer is an underrated team and are a potential playoff threat next season.

Grayson will have their work cut out for them, but they will be up to the challenge as look to win their 3rd state championship in the past decade.
