Parker Robinson RWE

Parker Robinson is a premier guard in the 2026 class. He stands at 6’5, 200 pounds, and is a spot up shooter. He currently is listed as a 4-star recruit according to On3 Sports. He plays at the Overtime Elite for RWE, and previously for the City Reapers, where he won a championship. This season he is averaging 13.3 points per game as RWE rides a 7 game winning streak following a 94-76 win over the Cold Hearts. As his recruitment heats up, he details some schools that have stood out to him with me:

Penn State- One of the schools that Robinson mentioned when asked about his recruitment was the Nittany Lions. He credited the new coaching staff as one of the reasons why he is so interested in going to University Park. He specifically cited Coach Rhoades, and how he always has his players backs. Robinson has already gone up on a visit to see the Nittany Lions.

Iowa- When I asked him about his interest in Iowa, Robinson said that he liked how Iowa has produced shooters like himself. He went deeper into a conversation he had with an Iowa coach about how Iowa is using current guard Josh Dix, who is a similar size and plays a similar way to Robinson. Robinson said he wants to get up to Iowa City soon to visit to Hawkeyes.

Maryland- The Terps hold one thing that no other team in Robinson’s recruitment has, proximity to home (Robinson grew up about 45 minutes from Maryland University). He especially likes the way Derrick Queen has been able to take over as a freshman this season, and the way they use Virginia Tech transfer Rodney Rice (who is also a spot-up shooter). Robinson has already visited Maryland.

Providence- The final school we discussed, Providence, was the only one not in the Big 10. Robinson has not visited Providence yet, but said he wants to get up soon to visit the Big East Power. Robinson likes what Head Coach Kim English has been doing with the Friars. He also likes the idea of playing in the Big East as he said, “the Big East has been a strong conference year after year now, being able to play somewhere like that, and go up against other strong teams.”

He also mentioned West Virginia as a school he is looking at and has visited.

One key thing that Robinson mentioned was that both of his parents went to Big 10 schools and that he grew up watching Big 10 basketball.

Finally, I asked Robinson about a commitment timeline, where he said that he does not have a timeline for a commitment. According to Robinson, he is just “trying to feel everything out right now.”
