P.J. Wolfe

P.J. Wolfe has become a premier name in the State of Georgia over the past few years. Wolfe is currently ranked as the 9th best quarterback in the state and recently announced that he will be attending Norcross High School for his senior season. However, this has been no easy journey for him as he has battled through trials to get where he is today.

Wolfe started his High School career at Alcovy High School where he earned the starting job by his 3rd game of the season. He followed it up with an solid Sophomore campaign passing for around 900 yards.

Following his sophomore season, he would transfer to Collins Hill High School where he would have to battle it out for any opportunity. He said that “there were many times that I could have easily given up, but I have my family there to support me every step of the way.” He was able to start in the last game of the 2024 regular season, in which he threw for over 200 yards, 4 touchdowns, posting a 160.4 QB rating, and was named Sport Illustrated Georgia Player of the Week, in a 65-0 win over Discovery High School. He also played against eventual 6A champions Grayson in the State Quarterfinals.

Wolfe cited 2024 as one of the hardest years of his life, but he was rewarded when he received his first offer from Warner University.

As previously stated, Wolfe has transferred from Collins Hill to Norcross ahead of his senior season. He is lined up to have a big season with the Blue Devils as they look to take home the 6A title.

It is a full-circle moment as Wolfe’s dad was a standout receiver at Norcross and he installed a hard work ethic into Wolfe as he grew up.

Norcross went 8-4 last season with big wins over Walton and Peachtree Ridge, eventually losing in the 2nd round of playoffs to eventually champions Grayson. They have multiple division 1 level players including 4-star Carter Luckie.

Wolfe and company will have their work cut out for them as Norcross are in one of the toughest regions in the state with North Gwinnett (won the region last season) and Peachtree Ridge (4th last season) both making playoff runs last season.

P.J. Wolfe’s Hudl from last season:

One of my notes from his Hudl is that he has a pretty accurate deep ball, connecting on one particular throw about 44 air yards down field while being hit by two defenders. Also, he shows an ability to make plays when pressured, whether standing in the pocket or rolling out.

Wolfe will also be competing at the Under Armour Next Combine in Orlando on February 22nd.

Upon this coming season, Wolfe says that he is ready to show the world that chasing your dreams, no matter the hardships, will always pay off in the end.
