As the offseason is now in full effect, we have reached the point in recruitment where we look towards the next class of stars to see where they will end up. Here is what 4 of the top recruits of the 2026 class in Georgia have to update on the recruitments.

Jowell Combay DB Kell High School

Jowell Combay put on a ridicules show last season leading to plenty of schools jumping into the race for him. He ended up with numerous accolades including Region Athlete of the Year and was a first-team all region DB. As for his recruitment, Combay holds 27 division one offers as of writing this. This includes offers from multiple power 4 schools. He spoke with me about two schools that he will visit, the first being Missouri. Combay said that he likes Mizzou because of their strong program and the energy around the team. He also cited the coaching staff for the Tigers and how he thinks they do a great job at developing players. He will visit Missouri from May 30th to June 1st. The other school he spoke about was Duke. Combay loves the balance of academics and athletics about Duke and he likes the idea of playing at a high level while getting a great education. Also, Combay likes what coach Manny Diaz and his staff are building at Duke. Combay will visit Duke June 20th-22nd. He has also scheduled a visit to Kansas.

Jude Cascone TE Walton High School

Walton’s Jude Cascone broke out last season providing a massive impact for the Raiders helping them finish 2nd in the region. In doing so, the 6’2 tight end has received a ton of offers from multiple power 4 schools and group of 5 schools. He took no time scheduling visits and took visits almost every week during last season. Now, Cascone is ready for his senior season and his commitment. Cascone still has a ton of schools in contention as he will visit Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, West Virginia, Ohio State, Florida State, App State, Tulane, and a few fcs schools including multiple Ivies in the spring. From there, Cascone is looking to set summer visits to the schools he likes the most.

Noah Lavallee LB Walton High School

Similarly to Cascone, Noah Lavallee dominated the gridiron for Walton this past season after taking over for former 4 star Ashton Woods. Lavallee finished his junior season with 124 tackles and was a 1st team all-region player. Lavallee says that he want to visit the schools that are recruiting him the hardest, which are Ole Miss, Kansas State, Florida State, and Kansas. For me, one to watch will be FSU, as they were the first school to offer Lavallee and coach Mike Norvell has visited Walton multiple times in the past. Lavallee’s brother Caleb also recently transferred to Florida State. Lavallee told me that he plans on committing before the beginning of the season.

Eddie Guerra DB Thomas County Central High School

Guerra has been an under the radar name for some time now. That is all starting to change as the DB is gaining the offers he deserves! He put on a stellar show last season for the Jackets with 5 PBUs, an interception, and no touchdowns allowed. He now has 12 offers and is set to visit 5 schools in the spring. He will start out in Macon to visit Mercer on March 22nd, then he will travel up north to UNC Charlotte on March 29th, before heading west to South Alabama on April 5th, he will then travel to Mississippi State on April 8th, and end of his journey (as of now) at Liberty on April 12th. Guerra does not have a commitment timeline as of now.

  • Player Spotlight: Joshua Hall

The 2025 regular season has officially come to an end with all eyes focused on the playoffs. It is easy to overlook some of the players on the teams that did not make the playoffs, but that would be a mistake as in the case with 2028 linebacker Joshua Hall. Hall plays at Kennesaw Mountain…
