Few players have come as far as Norcross quarterback P.J. Wolfe has. Wolfe has overcome tones of adversity in order to get where he is heading into his senior season. Wolfe, ranked as a top 10 quarterback in Georgia in 2026, has set visits for the spring as he looks towards the next level. As of right now, he has 3 visits lined up: Alabama State, Georgia State, and Gardner Webb. Here is what Wolfe had to say on the three:
Alabama State- Wolfe’s first look at ASU was last season when they played Jackson State. Although they lost 10-16, Wolfe loved the atmosphere, and the coaching staff wanted Wolfe back for another visit. Since, he has developed a good relationship with the coaching staff for the Hornets. That visit that was previously mentioned, is scheduled for April 4th as he will head to ASU for their spring game. Alabama State finished last season at 7-5 and were 2nd in the East division of the SWAC.
Georgia State- Wolfe made the journey to Atlanta on a visit for the first time last week for Georgia State’s spring practice. Wolfe was impressed by the intensity and atmosphere of the practice and Wolfe loved watching the quarterback drills. Wolfe had a great conversation with quarterbacks coach Ryan Williams and the pair bonded over living in the Norcross area. Williams also mentioned that he would be at Norcross High School during the spring contact period and Williams made sure to invite Wolfe back to GSU for their spring game on April 11th (Wolfe has confirmed he is visiting. Georgia State finished last season 3-9 with a marque victory over Vanderbilt and signed the number 1 recruiting class in the Sun Belt in 2025 (via 247 Sports).
Gardner-Webb- Wolfe visited Gardner-Webb for the first time over last summer and since then Gardner Webb has made a huge impression on Wolfe. Wolfe says Gardner Webb quarterbacks coach Payton Veraldi has been checking in on him weekly and Wolfe loves Veraldi’s energy. During his last visit, Wolfe felt fired up to get a chance to play for Veraldi while watching him coach (Veraldi is also from Georgia as he attended Dalton High School). Also, Wolfe loves Gardner-Webb’s Campus in Boiling Springs, specifically citing the small town feel and scenery of the town. Gardner-Webb finished 4-8 in 2024. Wolfe has set a visit to Boiling Springs on April 12th.
As for Norcross, Wolfe and his squad will play Collins Hill in their spring game, Wolfe’s old school. Wolfe says he remembers every game he had to sit out, but now he gets to show his talent first hand. Wolfe wants to the naysayers what he can do saying LANK (let all the Naysayers know). Then in the fall, Wolfe can’t wait to get to work with his team which he refers to as his brothers. Wolfe cites a tradition of winning at Norcross that he wants to uphold as well as getting to play for his father’s alma mater as reasons he is excited to begin play. Two games that Wolfe is looking forward to are Norcross’s home opener against Lanier and at Mill Creek, who won state 3 years ago. Wolfe can’t wait for what God has in store this season for him and his brothers.
As for his commitment, Wolfe is letting God control his destiny and guide him to the right choice. As without him, he wouldn’t have these opportunities. Again, this is proof that if you keep pushing towards your dreams and trust in God, he will bless you more then you ever expected says Wolfe.
