The 2025 regular season has officially come to an end with all eyes focused on the playoffs. It is easy to overlook some of the players on the teams that did not make the playoffs, but that would be a mistake as in the case with 2028 linebacker Joshua Hall. Hall plays at Kennesaw Mountain High School, and for some reason, he does not have a single Division One offer.
Hall had a stellar season totaling 115 tackles with 66 solo tackles and 11 tackles for loss in just nine games. Overall, he had the fourth-most tackles in the state of Georgia amongst sophomores (all classifications) and had the 30th-most tackles in the entire state no matter the grade (keep in mind he missed the first game of the season). Hall shined as the season went along, he had one of his best games of the season in a 37-29 win over Lithia Springs. The sophomore was second on his team in tackles only having less than fellow sophomore Kamari Butler (who has an Alabama offer). The pair combined for 274 total tackles over the course of the season. With stats like that Hall and Butler are almost locks to make the All-Region team when it comes out. Despite going 2-8 this season, Hall, Butler, and 3-star quarterback Chris Miller provide a bright future for the Mustangs as they move into 7A next season.
Hall has all the makings of a Division One prospect. He stands at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, and has hit the weight room a lot this season. He has a self-reported max bench of 285 pounds and ran a reported 4.69 40-yard dash while recovering from injury.
Below is a breakdown of Hall’s film from Najeh Wilkins:
Even though Hall and Kennesaw Mountain will not be in the 2025 postseason, expect big things out of Hall in the future. One thing is for sure with Hall, he will work hard and will put God first through it all.
Hall enjoyed his first season with the Mustangs and had this to say regarding his season:
“I loved playing with my teammates, but this season was disappointing because we didn’t make the playoffs. However, we did gain valuable experience. We have 16 returning starters coming back with experience from both sides of the ball,” Hall told me. He continued on, “I gained valuable experience that I can take into next season! Kamari and I will form one of the top LB Duos in the nation next year!”
