The McDonald’s All American game is upon us, the game with the best high school basketball talent in the country coming together for one game. Last year the peach state had 2 representatives with Stephon Castle (Newton) and Isaiah Collier (Wheeler). This year Georgia got 3 spots on the All American roster:
Ace Bailey (McEachern) 5 star Rutgers commit- Bailey is a 6’8 athletic wing from McEachern, the 5 star helped lead McEachern to a state championship appearance before falling to Grayson 51-41, Ace had 18 points in the title game. He was also a finalist for Gatorade Player of the Game. Ace Bailey will be joining fellow All American Dylan Harper at Rutgers next season.
John Bol (OTE) 4 star Ole Miss commit- while he isn’t from Georgia, John Bol a 7’2 big, played for the Overtime elite league in Atlanta. He lead the OTE in rebounds per game with 9.9 and was 3rd in blocks per game with 1.8. He is Ole Miss bound and don’t be surprised if Ole Miss uses him early on next season.
Karter Knox (OTE) 5 star Kentucky commit- Knox is the younger brother of NBA player Kevin Knox, however, he is making his own name and transferred to the OTE this pass summer and has balled out for Rod Wave Elite. He was 3rd in the league in scoring averaging 23.1 points per game. He lead them to the OTE finals were he averaged 21.6 points per game in the playoffs good for 3rd most in the league in the postseason. Like his brother and fellow RWE teammate Somto Cyril, he will be joining Kentucky next season.
