We are now in the last stretch of the season and with teams fighting for a place in playoffs lets take a look at 5 of the top teams (by combing their rankings on different websites to determine) in 4A remaining schedules.

Cherokee Bluff: Prep Baseball Georgia 2, Coaches Box Georgia 6, MaxPreps 2

At 18-4 Cherokee Bluff sits with one of the best records in 4A, they have won 9 of their last 11 games and have a chance to sweep North Hall on April 5th. They close out their regular season vs Chestatee on April 8th, 10th, and 12th.

Wayne County: Prep Baseball Georgia 7, Coaches Box Georgia 4, MaxPreps 3

Wayne County are 19-1 in their last 20 games to put them at 20-3 on the year, this makes them undefeated in region play. They close out a series vs Islands on April 5th before playing their second-to-last series vs Benedictine on April 9th, 10th, and 12th.

Starr’s Mill: Prep Baseball Georgia 1, Coaches Box Georgia 1, MaxPreps 1

Starr’s are 17-2 and have both the results and strength of schedule to back up their ranking so far. They only have 3 games remaining two of which will be in a series vs Whitewater on April 12th and 16th.

LaGrange: Prep Baseball Georgia 6, Coaches Box Georgia 3, MaxPreps 4

LaGrange are 18-7 on the year and have put up some insane numbers this year both hitting and pitching. Coming up they have a difficult schedule playing Harris County on April 5th, Fayette County April 9th and 11th, and closing out the year vs Troup County.

Perry: Prep Baseball Georgia 4, Coaches Box Georgia 2, MaxPreps 7

Perry have a superb 18-2 record and haven’t lost since February. It will be difficult to keep this up as they play Upson-Lee on April 8th before playing 5A power Coffee on April 10th and 12th in what will be a series to watch.
