Westlake has become somewhat of a talent factory in Georgia. With players like Cam Newton, A.J. Terrell, and Nate Wiggins being some of the legends who have worn the blue and grey. This season, they went 5-6, behind one of the best offensive lines in the entire state. One of which is 6’4, 285 lbs. Roland Grimmett.

Grimmett has become a staple in the trenches for the Lions. He only allowed 2 sacks all season, despite going up against teams with loads of defensive talent, including; Carrollton, Langston Hughes, Gainesville, Collins Hill, and more. He also has a self-reported 48 pancakes blocks on the season. Finally, he had a reported 82% block grade on the season.

Also, he recently competed in the Peach State Gridiron Classic All-American Game, where he did not allow any sacks, 4 pancake blocks, and a 93% blocking grade.

Grimmett has a 500 lbs. squat, 315 lbs. bench-press, and a 3.0 GPA, according to his X account.

Roland Grimmett has multiple offers from the likes of Hampton-Sydney, Fayetteville State, Reinhardt, and more.

He also plays discus for Westlake.
